Alrighty then... 3 days off of working out is quite enough!! :/ My baby took a four day weekend for our 23rd anniversary!!! And yes... I've cheated on my whole lent thing for two days now. :(

Tomorrow is the 1st of the month AnD my day to come back work out wise!!! The whole fueling thing... we'll have to see... I hope so though.

Today I ate a dish by the name of 'chocolate heaven' for our romantic brunch (French toast stuffed with chocolate mousse and topped with bananas, strawberries and whipped cream!!) a side order of crispy hash browns and three slices of bacon! A tall glass of milk AND a cup of coffee WITH cream AND sugar!!!! o_O Yes... I ate it all. No water and later at the movies, I snacked on a bit of popcorn with some gulps of coke zero and had a whole cup of hot mocha. (I was cold!!)

Not good... smh!

New day tomorrow, new month... so back to a my new me!! (Being human and enjoying life IS alright!!! As long as your EvErYdAy is NOT mindless eating!) ;)

No workout today... spent the day with two of my lovely sisters. Saw my Pops and got to see all 6 kids enjoy the beauty of the day at the park before lunch! =)

Breakfast was a tiny McD's yogurt parfait. Lunch was 3 bowls of soup and some salad. And dinner is about to be some grilled chicken and wild rice. Hope I get some trail mix... I've been out for the last couple of days. Lol...

Back at it tomorrow gang. Hope today was a good day for all of you!

Morning lovely people!!!! What was YOUR strong today??? =)

I got out for a light kick butt 2 mile run!! First mile was a 9.15 average and mile 2 was 8.45 average... Not too bad after that defeating run yesterday. Today, I jump on the ab coaster and start fine tuning what's left. ;) If I can muster it, I will also be trying to hit an Insanity routine. Cause THAT's what I want MY strong to be!

Before the run I had a kellogg's special k fruit crisps pack w/water. (Had to cheat on the lent thing... those were NoT made by God) :(
Post run I had a protein shake and my vitamin.

Later today, I will comment w/what I DiD get to doing and lunch, dinner and snack. ;)

Good night for tonight and welcome to those of you who have joined in!!! I have a lot of work to do and only 4 1/2 months to do it!!! Now, it's crunch time. Gotta' incorporate CraZy ab work outs and work on triceps and hamstrings more... Then and only (maybe) then... will I feel that I have achieved my ultimate goal to hit 40 strong and lean. It's almost time to say... " I've done all could do and this is how I am and I am happy!"

Not so Happy Tuesday... Lol... My fuel for the day has really stunk big time!!

Had an apple for breakfast and 5 animal crackers w/peanut butter and a small glass of milk w/my vitamin before a run. Post run I had a protein shake and 3 1/2 large pretzel sticks. Then my snack was 5 snap peas and another helping of water (third one of the day) Dinner will be some ground beef with potatoes and red rice.

Ran 3.63 miles and almost past out cause of the bad fueling. My body is pretty sore from starting up with the Insanity yesterday and also starting up with the running. Almost want to describe the feeling as 'defeated'! I hope that tomorrow brings with it more energy and strength. as I will be fueling better, cause this feeling is for the birds!

Happy Monday to all!!! A special shout out to some women that I know and love who are either steady and strong with their routines or starting new ones to implement change in their lives!!!
Raquel, Claudia U., Olivia, Darlene, Cristyna, Maggie, Beth, Claudia M., Sonya, Dora, Lynn, Heather G., Heather D. and any and everyone else that is realizing that YOU are worth all of the extra time and effort!!!! And you men too... YOU know who I'm talking about!!! David, David Jr., Francisco, Irish, Alfredo, Noe, Jay and any other man that has made a turn for the better with health and fitness!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!

BiG Congrats for taking the steps that you have in making your body the best that it can be!!! I am so proud to witness happiness through perseverance!!!

Now... today's fuel...
Breakfast was more like BrunCh... 2 egg whites, 1 yolk and some beans. Lunch was my protein shake after my work out w/my vitamin. No idea what simple dinner I will have later, but I know that I AM going to have some??? Yes folks trail mix for a snack!!! ;)

Got back on the ball with Insanity Day #22 work out that WAS supposed to be Pure Cardio AND Cardio abs. Ha!!! Didn't happen... Just got through the PuRe Cardio stopping for the last 15 seconds of the frog jump, skipped the last set of the level2 drills and did NONE of the push up jacks. Head was pounding and ears were a poppin'. :/

After that kick ass work out... I did some yoga & poses...
1)Eagle (30 sec. on ea. side)
2)Mountain (1 full min) ...couldn't stand there doing nothing for much longer(gotta' work on that... lol)
3)Standing side stretch (30 sec. ea. side)
4)Lotus (MODIFIED!) (30 sec. w/ea. foot on opposite leg)
5)WarriorIII (30 sec. ea. side)
6)Tree (1 full min. ea. side)
7)Standing forward fold (30 sec)
8)Dancer (20 sec. ea. side)

I HaVe to work on my stress levels!!!

Tomorrow will hopefully be another Insanity work out AnD a run!!!! Only time will tell... ha!
