Not so Fit and Fab without adequate sleep...
What?! You don't say.
MORE evidence found recently that disruptions to your typical sleep schedule can effect your body on a genetic level!
Researchers found that messing with the typical sleep cycle decreases the number of genes displaying a natural, 24 hour circadian rhythm by SIX times.
((Circadian Rhythms are physical, mental and behavioral changes that follow a roughly 24 hour cycle, responding primarily to light and darkness in an organisms environment)) ((They are NOT the same thing as biological clocks but ARE related))
Therefor, these findings are important people!! Genes circadian rhythms are said to be vital to the smooth running of biological processes.
So yes bloggers, GET MORE SLEEP ON A CONSISTENT BASIS. It matters to your good health just as much as fitness and fueling.
