And I thought that you weren't going to get much posted now a days!! Ha!

Today is day 1 of my other half's and my detox fasting!! A good friend of his from work turned us onto a documentary on Net Flix which I highly recommend called, 'Fat, sick & almost dead'.

We had a gift card to use from our daughter and her boyfriend, so we picked up one of the top notch juicers last night and a cart full of veggies with some fruit.

Got up early and had our Mean Green breakfast, I have an appointment for a luncheon today but may very well just take my juice... David took 'his' lunch juice to work, so I have to take these steps with him to support his journey to a thinner, healthier life.

Look it up guys... it was very inspiring.  And truth be told, I personally have NO NEED to lose anymore weight. My goal after the 10 days of fasting is to juice 1 or 2 meals a day because I tend to only eat 1 meal a day. Trying to work out with that sort of fueling is NEVER a good thing. So, fast now for 10 days and then drop down to juicing 1 meal, shaking it up with a protein shake 1 meal & a sensible dinner  with the family. If I ever feel the need to snack, it'll be a juice or some trail mix... it's THAT easy for my maintenance plan. David's plan is going to be a 'see as you go' plan. Lol
He is a newbe to the health and wellness world and I am VERY excited about his decision to embark on this journey with me by his side... :')  The fact is, that ANY day that he juices, exercises and/or watches how he fuels, is a WINNING day! I am very proud of where we are...
