About Me

My photo
The way I see it, the time is NOW... for change to come & happiness, health & strength to be found. As of 2012, this has only changed in the way that I have stumbled upon an amazing at home business venture that has given me the avenue to ACTUALLY help transform peoples lives. Funny thing is, that's been my goal all along. So now I not only share who I am here but what I do. The fact is that anyone of you can actually find your happiness & success thru allowing the right connections to occur in your life. If you are on my blog... you made it here because you are looking to shift, strive, smile &/or change. Well now, I can help guide you to do any & all of the above thru personal motivation, life changing products with an outstanding reputation & LONG list of testimonials, substantial savings with our shopping annuity & incredible business opportunities to actually call your own... While never having to leave the security of your current J O B! Never be afraid to give something you know nothing about a chance; at least to hear about it. Then you can make an educated decision to pass it up not an ignorant one. The opportunities exist.

As the transformation takes place; your body, mind and soul start taking form....

Today was session #8 of 12.
My body just feels like one big bruise at this point but not enough to stop me from walking tall, proud, strong and swiftly through my blessings of a day.

True story about starting CrossFit:

If you are afraid to try it, know that you're probably only afraid of realizing just how much more your body is truly capable of accomplishing.

Our bodies are meant to be in 'functional' movement throughout our lifespan.
If you stop moving, your body WILL rust (sort of speak) and I've done a lot of different exercises regimens in my lifetime.
I get it.
...something, anything is better than nothing.

However, I'm a "just HOW MUCH am I capable of getting in on" kinda' gal.

And THIS CrossFit crew knows their stuff! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

The work is real. The energy and ego boosts are real. ...but most of all, knowing that I am not only evolving physically as I am mentally is a HUGE bonus.

It's not easy to see just how much no longer comes easy. Just how much I've allowed myself to believe that getting competitive WITH ONESELF is just for the younger generation.

Don't let a declining 'comfort zone' run your mind, body and soul.

Get up. Get out. Try something new.

It will not only change your health and body but it will ignite your soul and feed your mind with new boundaries to aim for!

All of the sacrifices WILL be well worth it.

True testament to #failingmywaytosuccess

I missed the FREE month at my Gym folks. The decision to embark on this challenge was basically not only to save the $ but to create the habit of MAKING the gym a priority.

Now, it has been quite the task since I was the recipient of an amazing prize at the CrossFit Box that my son works at;
Which is a 12 session program for beginners / 3x's a week for 4 wks!
((Which I started on the first Monday of March)) πŸ‘€

Not sure why or how all the stars aligned for me quite this way; but they did.
...and I'm not going to lie, I love it! πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

So, the "skinny":
I missed 26 check-in's by THREE.

Apparently, when my bank has a pull on one day; it shows it on the following day.
Therefor, I calculated ALL of my efforts wrong. πŸ˜‘

I actually DID get my first check-in out of THREE that I was going to hit on that last day;
But the pull happened on that same day.

This was a BIG disheartening moment.

However, on the brighter side of things;
1) It was a VERY cheap pull.
2) I have lost weight (mostly inches)
3) But MOST importantly to me, I have created habits that I can now take down a notch and hit my mark for the next billing cycle.

Perspective people....
Perspective - the state of one's ideas, the facts known to one, etc., in having a meaningful interrelationship.

Life is only "Like a Box of Chocolates," if you 'allow' yourself to view it as such.

Why you should never... Never throw in the towel.

You may or may not know... I'm no spring chicken. Lol ...and there have been so many ups and downs in my life with weight and fitness level that this blog would have to become a book to go over all of them.

The reality remains that people seem to always view me as a health fanatic. Everyone thinks that I don't eat junk or over eat when I fuel.
...nothing can be further from the truth!!

Here is where "Never throwing in that towel" comes into play.

The difference between me and many other people is that I've made myself addicted to wanting more out of myself.

No matter how bad my fitness level gets or how much extra weight I've carried throughout my lifetime... I always get back at it. ((I'm not saying that it's easy))

I'm just saying that YOU ARE WORTH IT.
Being more mindful of what you allow your body to consume. Getting yourself back to the gym or on those walks outside. EVERY and ANY effort put forth is worth it. Even when things don't happen over night! ((Because I ASSURE you, they won't))

Your fitness level and body weight ((most of the time)) are a direct product of a 'lifetime' of habits. Not a product of an empowered moment in time.
So cut yourself some slack and make your expectations realistic ones.

But rest assured; you ALWAYS HAVE to be proud of each one of those empowered moments! ...for without those sparks of motivation, lifelong momentum can NEVER happen.

((The initial spark HAS to exist before a roaring flame can exist.))

So good morning to you all!! And with this #rawtruth I leave you today.

Get motivated to find your strongest, healthiest, happiest YOU. Stay the course and NEVER throw in the towel. After all, the best destinations reached come with moments of recharging to reenergize and refocus! 😎

When you are a parent... Always remember that you have VIP's watching

So the Dolls were off from school today; and it just happened to be my FIRST session (of onRamp) at a CrossFit box that I've been watching from a far for a while now.

The precision of caring that these coaches practice is simply invaluable.

They care about where you are at, where you want to be and most importantly, how they are going to coach you to get there 'safely'.

Now, considering that CrossFit has such a bad rep about people injuring themselves... I'm sure that you can see the extreme value in knowing that THIS box is NOT in the running for 'just another CrossFit gym'.

I get back home to fuel with my girls and one of them posted this on IG. :')

I absolutely LOVE that at such a young age, she sees the value of dreams and of being powerful enough to see that it's in YOUR own hands to make them a reality.

Strength comes in different ways for different people at different times. For me today, it comes in the form of sculpting strong and passionate kids that believe that they can do anything. πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ˜ŽπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

How the heck?! ...a love n' hate relationship with the bike.

How is it that with everything I've hit at this gym during my Phase 2 of my 21 Day Challenge; the bike kicked my arsss! ....and yet it 'only' showed that I burned 148 Calories, during a 30min 6 and 1/2 session that left me dripping sweat?!

I really hate the bike. Just sayin'...
But I feel like I got the most bang for my buck. o_O ((even tho the calories did NOT make it seem as such))

Day 7 of Phase 2 ✔️
(( Day 14 in the 21 Day ))πŸ˜
