Know that your desire to create change in your lifestyle is what will at any moment make you aware of what you need to do differently.
If you are always at the gym spinning your wheels and still can't drop the weight, start eating clean!! ( low carbs, no starchy processed food and cut the sugar)
If you are eating clean and don't feel strong, start working out!
You don't NEED a gym membership or an expensive trainer... Basic movements for 15/30 min a day WILL give you results. IF you are eating clean...
